24-hour vets in Metro Manila: the full list, and what to ask when you call

OpenVet · 11 Sep 2026
24-HOUR

It is 2am, the dog has been vomiting since midnight, and you are typing 24 hour vet near me into a phone with 12% battery. You will get a list. What the list will not tell you is that "24 hours" means at least three different things, and the difference matters enormously at 2am.

We hold 48 records for veterinary practices in Metro Manila that publish round-the-clock availability in some form. Here is what is actually behind them.

They are not evenly spread

Round-the-clock cover is not spread evenly. One area carries more of it than any other by a wide margin; several carry exactly one listed clinic; and where an area has none of its own, the page shows the nearest options across the boundary rather than a dead end.

If you live somewhere with one listed clinic at 2am, your nearest genuinely-open option may well be across the boundary. Work that out now, not then. The drive is the part nobody plans.

"Open 24 hours" and "24 hours for emergencies" are different services

This is the single most useful thing on this page.

Some practices are staffed and open all night. Others keep ordinary daytime hours and are on call after them — a vet comes in for you, which takes time and usually costs more. Both describe themselves as 24-hour, and both are being honest.

Three of our records say so explicitly in their own words:

  • CuraPet Animal Clinic, Manila — the clinic's own site calls it a "24 Hours Veterinary Clinic" for emergency cases, while listing regular hours of Mon–Fri 8am–8pm.
  • Animal House Veterinary Clinic – Makati — a news report states the Makati branch operates 24 hours for emergencies; the other branches are daytime.
  • Pet Hub Veterinary Clinic – Parañaque — published as 10am–6pm daily, 24 hours for emergencies.

None of that is a criticism. An on-call vet at 3am is a real service and often the only one. But if you are choosing between two numbers with a bleeding animal in the back seat, you need to know which kind you are ringing.

Who says it is open — and how recently

Not every "24 hours" is published by the practice itself. Across the ten clinics we hold full records for, the claim comes from three different places: six say so themselves, two come from a news article, and two from third-party listings. The other 38 records are directory listings.

Two are worth naming, because we would rather show you the seam than paper over it:

  • Pendragon Veterinary Clinic, Quezon City — 24/7 on an on-call basis, with additional ER charges, per a 2020 article. Its phone number is carried on the record marked as published 2020. Six years is a long time for a landline.
  • VetPro Animal Medical Center, Caloocan — the 24-hour claim comes from posts in Facebook pet groups and is not confirmed by the clinic. We list it because at 3am you want every option; we flag it because you should ring before you drive.

Three of them have no phone number at all

Serbisyo Beterinaryo Animal Hospital – Quezon City (Commonwealth), Animal House Veterinary Clinic – Makati, and Pet Hub Veterinary Clinic – Parañaque are published as 24-hour and we hold no working number for any of them.

A 24-hour vet you cannot ring at 3am is, for practical purposes at 3am, not a 24-hour vet. Find their Facebook page now and save the messenger link, or pick a different first call.

Branches are not interchangeable

Several practices here run multiple locations with different hours. Serbisyo Beterinaryo appears in Quezon City, Makati, Pasig and Mandaluyong. Jordan Veterinary Clinic has BF Parañaque, Pilar and Alabang-Zapote Road. The Furr Project Animal Hospital has Makati and Quezon City.

When you ring, say which branch you are trying to reach. When you search, do not assume the branch nearest you keeps the hours you read about.

What to ask when you call

Five questions, in this order. They take ninety seconds and they save the drive.

1. Are you open now, or on call? Bukas po ba kayo ngayon, o naka-on-call lang? If on call, ask how long until a vet is physically there. That is your real waiting time.

2. Is a veterinarian on site, or a technician? Overnight staffing varies. You want to know who will actually see your animal.

3. What does it cost after hours? Ordinary consultation across Metro Manila runs roughly ₱500 to ₱1,000; after-hours and specialist consultations are published at ₱1,200 to ₱2,500. Ask for the after-hours figure before you leave the house, not after.

4. Can you take this case tonight? Kaya niyo po bang tanggapin ngayong gabi? Capacity is real. A clinic that is open is not necessarily a clinic that can admit.

5. Which branch am I speaking to, and what is your exact address? Then repeat it back.

If nobody answers

A 24-hour clinic that does not answer its phone at 2am is not a 24-hour clinic that night. Move to the next one on the list rather than driving to find out.

This is the practical case for having two numbers before you need them, not one.

The version of this that actually works

Everything above is what to do at 2am. It works, and it is worth knowing.

But the far better move is to have made these calls already — to have two clinics, two numbers, and the answers to those questions written down somewhere you can find them while panicking. Fifteen minutes on a calm Tuesday is worth an enormous amount at 2am on a Sunday.

We have written that out as a short exercise: [know where to take your pet in an emergency](/blog/know-where-to-go-pet-emergency).

One more thing

Ring before you drive. Every single time, including the places on this list. Hours change, branches close, and a page on the internet — including this one — is a record of what was published, not a promise about tonight.

⚠ If you ring a place listed here and the door is shut, tell us. That is the single most useful message we can receive, and we will fix the listing the same day.
